Introducing Under My Roof Furniture & Sleep Gallery. We launched our store in September of 2017 with the goal of providing an exceptional customer experience in a breathtaking environment, focused on friendly, no pressure service featuring quality Canadian made home furnishings. Although we are a fairly new store, our roots in furniture go back generations to a small family run Ottawa Valley furniture store started by my parents Roger & Bridget Perreault in the 1960s. Upon their retirement, my brother John and his family carried the business forward for decades with the same emphasis on friendly service and quality products. Seeing huge potential for a new and exciting furniture store in Arnprior, my brother and I purchased Robertson’s Furniture in 2017 and began extensive renovations to the historic building. We worked hard to maintain and restore its charming heritage feel. Since our opening we’ve seen rapid growth, leading to a phase 2 expansion of our business into the remaining half of our John Street building in 2019. This expansion resulted in over 8000 square feet of premier showroom space.
After decades in the industry, our business partners retired in the summer of 2023 and our son Jacob has since joined our team. Heather, Jacob and myself will continue to offer the friendly service and selection our customers have come to expect from Under My Roof.
We can tell you all about our amazing store but its something to be experienced. We invite you to take a scenic drive to beautiful downtown Arnprior and enjoy the small town hospitality and friendly service. Spend the day wandering the sidewalks of our bustling downtown and enjoy the many great independent shops and restaurants we have to offer. Arnprior is fast becoming a desirable destination for shoppers, looking for unique products and small town hospitality. When you do come to visit our bustling little town, be sure to drop in to our showroom to explore over 8000 square feet of premium home furnishings.
Our store circa 1910 as Moir Hardware. The name can still be seen on our side wall. The building was constructed in 1883 by local lumber barons, the McLauglins.

After the purchase of the legal office from long time Arnprior Lawyer Art McLean in 2019, construction of our expansion is underway.
Phase 2 construction is complete and we open our new addition just in time for Christmas.
